Hello Families! :)
I am Ms. T. Hays. This is my second year teaching at Twin Lakes Academy Elementary (TLAE). I started out last year in second grade and moved to fourth grade in February. I did some subbing at TLAE prior to last year as well.
I have lived in Jacksonville since I was about 2 years old. I grew up out at the beach going to San Pablo Elementary, Fletcher Middle, and Fletcher High school. I also grew up playing soccer and believe that sports are apart of what helped me get through school and build close friends. I graduated from Shorter University (in Rome, GA) in December 2013. I went there on a soccer scholarship and played for 4 1/2 years. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Business Management.
I have two sisters who are also teachers. Ms. S. Hays is here at TLAE teaching in second grade. She is two years older than me and we are so lucky to be able to work together and be here for each other!
This summer I got engaged to my best friend! I met him at Shorter University where he played baseball. We have been together for five years and we will be getting married next summer! :) :) WOO HOO!!
In my free time I love to be around my family and friends. I also LOVE to watch sports. I am a big GATOR FAN (CHOMP! CHOMP!).
